Welp, I got through the first "week" of classes. Week is in quotes because the semester started Wednesday, yesterday, and I only have class Monday-Thursday except for two Fridays that we have class because there are two Mondays where we don't have class.
Honestly though, I'm only excited for two out of my five classes: Diversity of Spanish in the World and Latin American Civilization and Culture. The other three classes will have so much work I have to do. The only upside is I don't have to buy any books, only had to buy 2 workbooks for 10 euro total. Talk about a steal. Mondays and Wednesdays I have two classes from 1030-1430 and Tuesdays and Thursdays I have three classes back to back from 0830-1430. The plus side is practically every hour we get a break. A break for five minutes within the two hour class period and another "break" between classes. But that's still a long time to be in class. I guess that's what happens when you only have class twice a week here in España. Now I just have to become accustomed to having a class all in Spanish, speaking only Spanish in class, doing homework all in Spanish, and writing and doing presentations all in Spanish. I'm kinda glad I didn't go to Japan now because if my classes were like this... oh boy...
Not saying I don't want to go to Japan. Once I get back home, I'm going to practice Japanese in conjunction with Spanish. Hopefully I can do it.
Well, gonna turn my brain into mush, courtesy of Netflix. I'm glad I'm going to start getting busy, but at the same time unbelievably scared.
